Hmmm...that's 3 in the minority who like the album ços I know Mortified does and so do I... As far as the track goes, I do like it Yep. It's actually one of my favourite Quo albums, although I appreciate that it doesn't sit well with many. Each to their own and all that. I reckon it's probably my very favourite from the albums that have so many tracks on them due to the CD era; 13 in this instance. The second CD with the Australian edition is good value as well with 4 live songs including an excellent Mystery Medley from Liverpool Pops in 2005 . The only so-so track is probably I'm Watching Over You which I never really took to. A definite B-side as they say Small difference between us then cos I actually do like I'm watching over you quite a bit

I really like this track. It’s got a different rhythm.
I made a different playlist of TPAOY for my own use, opening up with You Never Stop, GGUAG and then I aint ready. A far stronger opening trip IMO

I know I am in a minority, but I like the album when it came out. Yes its poppy and light weight, but it has some decent pop rock songs. Maybe during this period of non work, I should revisit it. I totally see why it didn't make the album. Although its structure has promise. Funny isn't it ? Ive seen members on here pigeon hole you as a FF only fan,yet here you are and were liking a "lite" album that has few defenders 😲😁 I think it's crying out for good songs. I think I ain't ready is to this album what the madness was to HT - an unfinished highlight that would have lifted the album if they'd used it. The best song, GGUAG, although still excellent ,really let down by a wimpy sound. Not only did they not use I ain't ready ,they left off TOY& YCR. The very worst John David covers may be found here

The stand alone singles if I remember right were very good, as good as anything post John. Not listening to it properly but yes I still like it. Typical Status Quo, not at all. But I prefer them going to the music well and trying things rather than the ham fisted attempts of recapturing the genie from a sound long lost, which they have tried to do. But like most of their albums after the introduction of CD far too many tracks and too little quality control. Pick the best 10 and you would have a much much better album. Side one being much stronger than side two. But just flicking through Familiar Blues really could be on Rick's solo album.

Must admit I can’t remember it, if I ever heard it. Was it just on the UK release, or a special edition? Why was it a bonus. Good song and better than most of the album I utterly despise this.

americanquo far be it for me to challenge your opinion but that seems a ludicrous take on this song. I can understand it about something that’s far removed from the Quo sound but really is it that far from the template. The lyrics aren’t cringey, the riff and structure are much nearer the 70s than a lot of stuff Seems overly negative no?

It was an extra track with one of the All That Counts Is Love singles and turned up on the Australian tour edition of the .. Party double CD as well. Don't think it's on any other release of the .. Party album. Is it? The 2017 re-issue of the TPAOY album also contains the song. It's basically the same as the Australian issue, but without the videoclip and the photo gallery. Cheers for that. I didn't know it had been re-issued. Either that or I'd forgotten. Which is more likely

I really, really like this song a lot, same goes for "I'm Watching Over You" and all of the TPAOY album - by far the best one for me after 1986, probably hugely influenced by personal sentiments as I got interested in Quo in 2004 and saw them live for the first time in 2005, so it was the first album I really noticed and anticipated the release of etc. Always will have a special place in my heart!

More like BOGUS track! Actually, it's fine. As has been pointed out, very 'That's a Fact', but unfortunately it does pale rather compared to its inspiration.

I like the verses. I agree that it has some similarities withThat's a Fact but I think it's also very influenced by the early Quo from MKGS era. The refrain is not for me. It's just double tempo without groove, a little bit static, like most of their faster and rockier tracks past 81. I'm not a huge fan of keyboards in Quo music but I actually liked the Rhodes part.
