Definitely cannot be John on drums. Woo... a very strong word there, Luke [!?] I'm not a drummer so I didn't pay particularly close drum-attention 1st time around - I'll have to go back again I still think it's got a proper Quo-esque sound tho'! G

Really....mmm. It’s not exactly a live recording, perhaps they did some over dubs....ya never know...quite a good little song though. Defo JC on drums. Yeah, the crashes can be overdubs. But the need to overdub the drums on this song is just... well... I remember reading an interview with Pip Williams, about the production of RAOTW, where he said John would often forget some indication Pip had given him, including hitting crashes here and there, so Pip then would say "Don't worry, John, we can overdub them." (I don't really recall exactly, though). So yeah, they can be overdubbed. If it was me, I'd prefer to record it again, to give it a more natural feeling.

Just posted the link in the JC section, didn’t realise you’d done it already! Great to hear new original music from the guys, I love it I really like it. And what a fun video,it brought a smile to my face with all this doom and gloom that is around at the moment. F@ck The Virus t-shirt is apt as well. Viv did you get an appearance fee?

I did enjoy this version of the riff (if they really are that similar) more than I did enjoy Cut Me Some Slack which I actually think is quite boring. The beginning of the verse reminds me of "Black Night" by Deep Purple. There is even something that reminds me of Rainbow's "Long Live Rock & Roll".

So even IF it's not Spud on drums and let's be fair it is the cymbal on him, the track will only sound even better when he has worked his magic on it. Top stuff.

Definitely cannot be John on drums. Sorry but that has to be rubbish... as if John as the main man of JCQ would release a song which he doesn't play on...laughable.

Jolly nice that, more please JCQ! Odd to think that JCQ @the Brook back in February was my penultimate gig before the shutdown, seems such a long time ago now.

Just brilliant! Love it - ONLY JC plays Quo as it should sound - and this is as close as it's been for YEARS! Definitely a new/full album please MR. C Agreed 100%
