We already knew you didn't like it, before you'd even heard it. We already knew you’d comment before he’d even finished typing Cheers

Cheers No the only point you've ever made is that I love everything Quo do and I said that's not true. When I said show the posts to prove it you couldn't and decided not to get back to me on it. The only point I am making is, that people could at least hear the album in full before calling it shite.

Just like you, he was never going to like it and yes before you say it, I probably will. I bet you two can't wait for AL's new stuff to come out. The shoe might be on the other foot then.

Listened again to the samples...will repeat that a ew times to get a good impression for as much as that is possible in words.... but my impression so far is pretty good. There is the Crazy Crazy song...that one I am not sure about right now...maybe sounds bit too much to the country Francis thing...but I will keep listening to it a few times on regular intervals untill I hear the complete thing. One thing is for sure...I seriously believe that this album could be a mix of the right elements of UTI QPQ, HT, TPAOY ...and if that is what it turns out to be then I will be quite happy with it and that was all I hoped for at least and that seems to be working, I have a good feeling about this one,,,FTM sounds like a potentially very good one... It's definitely an album that makes me more and more curious to hear the complete songs. Now I just hope they're not gonna do things in the complete song to destroy the idea I have... There was never gonna be a new ff period album anyway,,,and I am beginning more and more to believe that that wouldn't have worked anyway...even if the four of them would have made an album together it still would have sounded different in some ways cos they simply have gotten older...music most of the time changes over time to most of the bands there are... in good or bad ways...this sounds like a latter day like album that I will enjoy. Good and realistic enough for me to expect anything more

But with a FF album they would have 3 singers and maybe some songs with more light and shade.

Isn't one of these bonus tracks a song by Richie?

Isn't one of these bonus tracks a song by Richie? According to the band "talk" on the new album, Richie is to sing lead vocal on the track he is credited as composing i.e. Get Out Of My Head. This will be on all editions of the new album.

But with a FF album they would have 3 singers and maybe some songs with more light and shade. There hasn't been a FF album since 1976! There was never a chance of one happening with the reunions as Francis and Alan were still miles apart musically and it would never have made the money for it to be a goer for Porter.

I understand this argument completely the FF were not commercial enough.
But Quo Only Gigs in Germany between nearly 1000 und 2000 people are commercial.
A FF album with some decent songs would sell in the same regions than a normal quoalbum but without any cost of promotion.

I wish they'd done one too but it would have had to be at the time to coincide with the first reunion tour. That would have boosted sales and it was before Francis opened his mouth about JC's and Alan's playing. By the time of the second tour Francis and Alan had drifted so far apart again it would never have happened.
