By the way, just a side note: The next album scheduled for July will be...Piledriver This is not good news. At this rate, every single album of the month 2020 will be a total stinker Well then we will really have a good test to see if people can still keep a so far very well going discussion of opinions and viewpoints going. And btw, there are still a few albums left that I personally don't think are stinkers

Many of You seem to favor AB Blues. I don't see any special with that song even though it's fun to hear Partitt go solo. Of the instrumental B-side jamsongs written by the entire band I prefer Good Thinking. Sorry for going a little bit of topic as it's a non album track. I didn't know Rick played lead, so thanks for that. I love it....really ordinary but builds. By the time it fades out it's brilliant, leaving me wanting more. If only we could have another 20 seconds or more of it....for me the studio vibe is very special in the last 90 seconds or so, much like how "nightride" ends up dripping in cool. When I read you and Gaz talk about the production, I went back and had another listen. For the life of me, I honestly can't fault C&G or OTE. I think both sound amazing (OTE backing vocals an acquired taste, granted). My only production gripe is to agree with dennis about Rock n Roll. Really love the song though, and what a special outro. (Btw I've today treated myself to a cheap Fender Strat, just so I can figure it out and play it!) In the main, the sound across "the trilogy" is superb. They really did achieve a successful new direction, one that was good enough to grow the fanbase. It isn't something they've had credit for, and it wasn't something they managed to repeat. Heavy yet contemporary, JS and NTL allowed Quo to have hit singles at the same time as winning over metal fans. They had it all I posted yesterday that I'm not angry with Francis anymore. So I'll make no comment as to what came next

Been a looong time since I’ve blown the dust off the needle on the turntable and I can’t be bothered going down to my vaults to get it out to listen to it, ... but one day I will...maybe (if you get the essence of what I’m saying😉)
