Just watching this documentary *cough*, never knew that Francis went to Mike Oldfield's celebrity clay pigeon shoot at Christmas!

Not sure if Rossi is still active on the clay pigeon shooting scene. Suzi.Quatro used to invite him to clay shoot gatherings because of their shared interest, though don't know if he actually went along.

I remember him saying that Lyane was a better shot ... (Than him, not than Suzi.)

Watching that has just reminded me of why I never watch Alan Partridge. About as funny as getting your arm trapped in an automatic industrial paper guillotine when you're working a shift on your own, just a week after attending the funeral of your dear mother, who was brutally murdered by a Colombian drug cartel in a tragic case of mistaken identity. Sadly, the puppy she was carrying at the time was killed too - it was to be a gift from her to replace the dog you lost recently, after it was crushed by a runaway road-roller. sounds like the plot to John Wick 4

By way of balance. Alan Partridge is utterly hilarious. Ahaaaaaaaa! Well...just watched that and I have no idea whatsoever why there are people laughing at it. I can only assume that it was laughter recorded at an actual comedian's gig, then played over that gammon. My original post still holds true. Jesus. You'll be telling me next you don't find Peter Kay funny! As if.

Jesus. You'll be telling me next you don't find Peter Kay funny! As if. Correct. He is shite on an industrial scale. Makes Partridge sound like Billy Connolly. Must be an age thing. Next you'll be telling me that The League of Gentlemen isn't funny!

Must be an age thing. Next you'll be telling me that The League of Gentlemen isn't funny! Correct again. That's about as funny as rampant, septic genital warts. Feck. Next you'll be ranting that the last time anything funny was on TV was The Two Ronnies Xmas Special 1987...

Michael McIntyre is worse then Peter Kay McIntyre is weapons-grade pish. The only people who find this fanny amusing, are the people who shop in Waitrose. At least there's The IT Crowd.

What about Python? The vast majority of Python stuff was shite. Watch the entire set of programmes and you'll see. People just remember the good bits. Yes some was a bit cringe worthy but the good bits were genius. Personally I think there was more great Python bits than Not the Nine O'Clock News.
