Some clever guy removed all of John's drums and used a computer to replace the drums with an exact replica of everything that John played and it gave the album a heavier sound.

Flac converter: Hmm - Thanks funk2thebone, I've grabbed this too. Btw, wouldn't it be great if 'they' could get JC to actually re-do the drums - it goes without saying [but I will,] he still has 'it'.
***Edit: Just had a quick listen to this; it's f**in' great!! Anybody know about the 'how/where/who' ??

I don't have any details but originally I was told the guy had used a drum programme on a PC to replace the drums, but after listening to it again, it sounds like real drums to me. Maybe the guy is a drummer in a Quo tribute band? Wonder why one of the Nanana's is missing?

Agreed - sounds like real drums to me too, none of that '80s computer 'fake' sound, I wonder if Quoincidence knows? Never noticed a Nanana was missing, mind you I never got why they had 3 versions on it anyhow, it's hardly 'essential' imho!

The two Nanana "extractions" were just filler because the album was so short. Maybe they were waiting for Rick's contribution & he failed to come up with anything!

Just sounds like the album has possibly been EQ'd and stereo'd giving it a wider and overall clearer sound

I have only answered the request. In general I'm not fond of fan-made remasters / interpretations. To be honest, I've never listened to this particular release ...
