From way back in the day as a 14yr old and seeing Paper Plane on TOTP'S, and playing it in our band maybe a year later, got to be that. THEN we learnt BFM and DWMT, by fuck, as leader singer and guitarist....I WAS THE BEEZ NEEZ Sorry, off topic there, happy feckin days Off topic, Sticky, I know but seriously: your avatar used to freak me out as it was disturbing, but now it is trying to impale itself! FFS! Where's Davy's Rainbow ponies?

JW I didn't use to like that but now it's like an old friend coming back. And Alan sounds Macho, like someone with a medallion. BW/JTM is perfect and he sounds more like himself. ITABW is wonderful and Alan is singing it. This was a favourite I never heard live in the FF days. And the bass is wonderful. IMC is good and I love it. LL/MOTT ... MOTT in 2013 and 2014 was gentler, as if he was singing it to an older generation. Writing a song which can be sung with more meaning nearly 40 years later, how prescient/accidental is that? 4500 was never as good as the NEC version, the intro is unsteady and Rick is singing slightly flat a lot of the time. But Francis's intro line is as perfect as it can be, and once it gets past the change of pace .... [this is where I am now] ... it's still not as good as the NEC version, but who cares?
Rain is just Rain, so that's OK. DWMT not a problem. Never one of my favorites, but always good. Here's Roadhouse. I seem to have copied disk 2 onto the tape back to front. There goes the Jig. No wonder so many people were heartbroken when they didn't play it in Dublin. Roll Over -- I have the version from the EP, but if not this would do it. BFM's OK. They played very fast in those days. Caroline's pretty good despite his "American" accent. I don't greatly go for drum solos these days. I can hear Bye Bye Johnny trying to start ... there we go ... love it. One of my best memories from 2014.
But basically it's Roadhouse. Where else do you get such a lot in one track?

Jesus that was like being constipated. you can choose three answers... Sh*t, I can't go through that two more times! I'll end up a mere husk of my former self, sitting in a corner, jibbering nonsense (more than usual anyway.)

Rain. Blistering version. Rain gets fully on my tits these days - but back then it was better live than it is in the modern era of Quo

Though I never understood why they put that silly double pedal bit in at the end of each bit but oh well. Any particular reason?

I just have dreamed of making tea for Francis and not spilling it over him - you best ask one of the technical boys that question

Don't Waste My Time, Most Of The Time, Backwater (mainly because of Francis's solo!)

Scrolled down and had to go back to the top, to check ....I had a different three when I looked again. This is the best Quo album ever. Junior , Take Me , 45 Hundred Times but could be any three and I wouldn't be fussed .

Roadhouse Blues with jig and Rossi talking in-between here and there..this version sounds better than any other in my view....the drive and energy..great in the car. Probably Backwater and Don't Waste My Time as the other two. Favourites on the FF reunion are Backwater,Just Take Me and Most Of The Time. I really liked Railroad,April,Spring,Summer and Wednesdays and the emotional Most of the Time on the 2013 FF tour.
