I can't see any sign of this on the Caberet site??..How are they going to explain this PR disaster? Doesn't anybody vet these interviews before they're published? Unbelievable. FTMO posted it on their FB page... UNFUCKINBELELIEVABLE...

Good honest interview. I suspect it was tailored to stir up all the "haters" on this message board. Job done by the looks of it Making very personal comments about Spud and Nuff. Yep, job done alright. Hilarious.

I’ve always preferred earlier Quo 71 to 81 albums and live to 84 ....but I’ve always given Rhino respect as an approachable man and a good bass player and thought that attacks on him were unfair
……but in the last couple of years my respect for him has been tested. His comments on the FF and Alan and John are unwarranted and extremely unprofessional. He seems to have become very cock-sure and verging on the distasteful of late.
The whole Quo legacy and 80 to 90% of Rhino’s live career since 1986 is based on material that Francis, Rick, Alan and John created and made famous – he’d do well to remember that.
The man from Barnes says very little and retains his composure/dignity. The man from Chiswick/Brentford is increasingly becoming a bit of a loudmouth yob….unfortunate…

I, for one, would be interested in hearing a bit more of his take on things... Past and present!

In fact, he even went as far as to say he loved Alan and had great times with him

Why do you come here simply to laugh at us? We talk about Quo in all incarnations.

Gawd. Sad, really sad. I mean let's admit it, this is not a difficult bass-playing role to fill, musically speaking. Jazz-Fusion [etc. etc.] it ain't. BUT it does require BUCKETS of feel and groove [e.g. Mr. Lancaster] and not just fairy-esque rock-poses and a dumb-looking guitar strap. Moving on then to song-writing and legacy... Yep, case closed. Just like FR's CQ should be. Let's see how long Rhino's 'career' lasts then! Huh, bass-player me arse!

Maybe 35-40 years ago when the band were still a force to be reckoned with. 30 years is too long to still get steamed up about a band that was at its peak in the 70's. Time and people move on....

I am not winded/wound/whatever up, but I am a bit sad that he choose to speak so much Loaferish.... Defending the Status Quo, as a few of us over here sees it, is obvious.. We still love the band, but not the brand. There will always be someone presenting this kind of schadefreude when these dull matters comes along. How does your agenda work??
