But I thought Francis Rossi was Status Quo - the man the public know, the man they all want to see! No? I went to see Francis in 2010 in Antwerpen, during his 'one step at a time' mini tour. There were 300 people. It was good fun, but quite embarassing. 300 isn't much, is it? no..

Wonder if it’s linked to Soundkick going out of business..

Porter would probably try and spin it, "Due to the success of our closing down sale, Status Quo will now remain open". Rinse and repeat.

One things for sure there's no demand for Rhino/Leo/Ritchie/Andy, they are musicians and that's it, brutal words but so so true. Just the presents of Rick/Alan/John/Francis drew big crowds to gigs.

Don't tell my kids ffs....only just over a week till I cross the border to Dingle Land (Wolverhampton).
I bought a ticket to see a proper band this morning (Iron Maiden).....no 50% off for them.

I would pay full price to watch maiden. I wouldn't watch Rossi Quo if they paid me to go. At least with the Irons you still get a great experience as opposed to a deluded clown and his backing band...

Maiden mixes things up: one year they do a 'new album' tour, the next they do a greatest hits tour, but focus on different albums. I love that band.

Rossi should have embraced the heritage of the band instead of insisting he doesn’t do nostalgia and changed things up for the fans Meanwhile he still relies on nostalgia Cheers

I loved seeing Maiden again this year. I hear it's more of an 80's set next year, so should be great Yes, your kids would not be impressed at the price drop. Neither will anyone else who bought one, especially during the last few weeks.

Basically they've confused hell out of everyone by advertising the tour as Aquostic and then changing to Plugged InThey should have used some word other than "plugged in" - most people will skim the word Plugged and just read it as Unplugged (ie acoustic). I've done a double take twice over that already, and I knew they were back to electric. Maybe they were embarrassed to use the word "electric" after LNOTE. They are actually in a bit of a mess. I can see why it makes sense to take a year off touring and do another album, then try a relaunch. By that time too they may have some spare Francises lined up in case anything happens to him.

They'll be launching a Crowdfunder next.
Help us pay for studio time to rehearse songs never before heard live, such as Dirty Water, Rollin' Home, Rock N Roll N You, Marguerita Time, and a brand new drum solo from Leon.

Why is Margarita Time not in the set? Francis says it’s his favourite Quo song! Also, I like it...

Why is Margarita Time not in the set? Francis says it’s his favourite Quo song! Also, I like it... G The reason is....it's such a great song that once played all the audience would want to go home because the show would fall flat after the MT was played.
