Jessica Greenfield. New keyboard player in Noel Gallagher's band. Amazing voice, very talented and she gets into the songs and feels them, as opposed to the usual backing singer dance that happens. Check her out Thanks for sharing. When Francis was introducing the people on stage, last friday in Antwerpen, he couldn't remember her name. Quite embarassing. He's a drug crazed insecure self centered old man..what do you expect?

He forgets names of people he's played with for decades. This girl is relatively new. Should she die on stage (God forbid), he would be really annoyed with her. But a mere 10 months after the accident he would mention her lovingly in a newspaper article, telling us "how special that night had been for the rest of the tour, as the incident revived the song we were playing at the time."

I've stuck their respective decades at the side.
70 Caroline 80 Something 'bout You Baby I Like 70 Rain 70 Little Lady 70 Softer Ride 00 Beginning of the End 70 Hold You Back 80 What You're Proposing / 70 Down the Dustpipe / 70 Wild Side of Life / 70 Railroad / 70 Again and Again 70 Paper Plane 00 The Oriental 00 Creepin' Up on You 80 Don't Drive My Car 80 In the Army Now 70 Roll Over Lay Down 70 Down Down 70 Whatever You Want 70 Rockin' All Over the World 80 Burning Bridges (On and Off and on Again) 90 Rock and Roll Music / 70 Bye Bye Johnny
Seems like a great setlist if you can't stand nostalgia, doesn't it ? Even the running order would be nostalgia now too, it hasn't been changed since the last century.

Are you in anyway, shape or form related to Toronto Pongo who is pictured in the gatefold of the On The Level album(By a top 70's band named Status Quo,whatever happened to those likely lads? Not all at sea I reckon or 'hamming' it up in an aussie advert)

As for Toronto Pongo from the 70's ? That's ' Nostalgia Pongo '. We shouldn't dwell on nostalgia, after all the new band is better than ever & has a new lease of life. Haven't you heard ? They're great now !!

Well after a fantastic gig at Tavistock with JCQ on the 24th, I couldn't resist looking at the 'Set' for FRQ...unsurprisingly it was the same old same old...Rick's passing aside, where did it all go so wrong? Christ, I love this band so much it hurts but 'Once Hero' Francis Rossi, where will it all end? First Tour missed since EOTR'84 and I can honestly say, it doesn't matter any more...Never thought as a Loyal Fan since '81 I'd ever reach this bitter point

First Tour missed since EOTR'84 and I can honestly say, it doesn't matter any more...Never thought as a Loyal Fan since '81 I'd ever reach this bitter point I have been like that since 85. The only version was a substandard Quo who played live shows and recorded terrible albums mostly. The loyalty/fan boy element died with the cynical End of the Road. I have sort of followed the Substandard Status Quo since they got back together but I knew Francis was a controlling arsehole and Rick chose and fame over loyalty and friendship. In some ways makes me smile that way to late more people have realised. But could have been was replaced with a parody of a rock band between 86 and 2000. Some half decent albums followed by farce.
