These 2 songs were sung as a tribute to Rick Ok.... so why couldn’t Francis have simply pulled the gig up a bit and said a few words before playing them if the band was genuinely wanting to pay respects to Rick in this ‘tribute’? The whole Rick episode has been a cock up with the band he helped build and it’s way past the embarrassment stage. 2 songs for nearly 50 years of work. Rossi & co clearly don't give a crap. As you said Gaz, not even a mention before the songs were performed, that's BS. The convention had Rick's real friends, the players & the people who went. Yeah it really would take no effort to do but it would be a no brainer for an appreciative crowd. I do appreciate Ritchie’s personal tribute to wear black though.

It was Rick's choice to replace him, must of been a real downer for Rick to do that.

Actually (apart from Andy's god awful vocs), I quite liked that take on an old Rick classic. Am I bad? Very bad indeed.Go to the back of the class and listen to Thirsty Work 100 times. I'm sure bringing back the death penalty would be preferable.

What the hell. A tribute to Rick, I don't think so. It doesn't rock, is that all you could do RossiQuo. Very disappointing. The whole Rick episode has been a cock up with the band he helped build and it’s way past the embarrassment stage. Francis can't... because they aren't. And fortunately for Quo, because Francis already said that he doesn't want to "dig a hole for himself". If LL and DDMC are being played as a tribute to Rick then what does that make Rain, CUOY, WYW? The tribute line is nothing more than a ploy to try and sell more tickets for a failing tour and an excuse for the band to be lazy when it comes to the set.

You're right, of course it is a ploy, but the reason those songs were singled out is because they have been put back in the set. The other 3 have been in for the last 20 years!
