Why don't you think Ritchie should sing.
If he's decent I'd rather he sang than Rhino or Andrew....definitely than Rhino!
I just don't approve. The same way I wouldn't approve if Rhino started singing Alan's songs Fair enough. Whatever songs they choose to play from the back catalogue, I'm happy for them to choose the best person in the band to sing it, whether that be Andrew, Ritchie or even Leon, however long they have been in the band.
I think if Ritchie's playing with the band, they may as well use all his talents. But I respect your opinion to see it differently.

I'd have no issue at all if they changed the name and stop branding it as Status Quo Granted there is a minority out there that still think it's Status Quo, so the example I give you and others is the following... Oasis were The Gallaghers, Bonehead, Guigs and either Tony McCarroll or Alan White. 4 of them left. By the end, Oasis were The Gallaghers, Gem, Andy Bell and a session drummer... When the Gallaghers had their final fight, imagine if Noel Gallagher had carried on with a new singer or Liam with a new guitarist/songwriter? Would they still get away with calling it and selling it as Oasis? 100% no! So for me, this thing Francis Rossi is touring, it's an embarrassment, it's pissing on a legacy, it's out of touch, it sounds hallow, empty, sterile That's not to say everyone has to fall in line with what I think. If you enjoy it, go on ahead. My loss is your gain. Hope you have great times and great gigs.

Absolutely staggering...what a farce. Rossi has said time and again he dislikes DDMC... the hypocrisy/lack of understanding beggars belief.
The only tribute/memorial to Rick has been and gone - at Butlins. I wish I'd have been there.
The sooner this excuse for Status Quo fizzle out into oblivion, the better. They can only flog the horse so far before it's time for the knackers yard...Eventually poor ticket sales will start to bite. Any new studio album will be a turkey and flop. It won't be cost effective for them to carry on with this larceny so MD Rossi and CEO Porter be forced to knock it on the head. Then the 'hiatus', will be permanent, thank fukc

And very good it was too although not with the heady intensity of Minehead and no Alan/Bob of course.
