Haha the ol chicken dance from Rhino. I remember seeing Quo, at Sydney, back in 1978 not realising that would be their last tour here for 19 years. Well anyway forward to 1997 and when Quo came on we thought they must've hired some failed bank clerk for the night as he wore a stripey, puffy shouldered long sleeved shirt whilst prancing, twirling and chicken snapping his neck around the stage. Rick stayed solid but even Francis was getting into a few twirls! What a different band from the one we saw 19 years earlier.

We can't complain though, at least we had a bit more time to adjust than those in the Northern Hemisphere. I can only imagine the shock of seeing Quo '76 and then a decade later you're looking at this !! We had the extra decade to get used to it & it still wasn't easy. Didn't get much easier in the decade after that either, I should say. : ) |
