Did I ever mention that I saw them 3 times in the 70's?. Includes Cobo Hall for their first live album. Second only to @marcotl 's mentions of 'The Apollo'.

Great voice of Graham Bonnet with The Marbles It was that song that got him the Rainbow gig. Here is the next hit for The Marbles. This was, as was Only One Woman, written for Graham Bonnet by The Bee Gees. I wonder why they didn't record these songs?

I wonder why they didn't record these songs? According to Wikipedia they did, on a one only album by them called 'The Marbles'. It also say's that Bonnett said at a reporter that 'Only One Woman' was a bit boring, angering Barry.

Regarding those supposed comments from Bonnet...he’d be pushing his luck when your associating with the Gibb brothers AND Robert Stigwood. ;-) An amazing voice though.

You're right Gaz, no Bee Gees recording of those songs exist at all, funny that Bonnett still performs that song even if it does bore him.

You gotta give to him he can still hit those notes ...you should give it a go The last time I sang was a couple of years ago at a birthday party on the karaoke machine. Either I was awful or I had too much of a good time coz the cops came round & it was 1am & pulled me off stage, of course I was drunk. But, friends at the party said they could hear me from down the street, none didn't say I was bad singer, but I won't give up my day job.

Also went to a Quo convention in 96 or 97 in Melbourne & got pretty pished that night & the girls who were there said to me the next morning they filmed the whole evening with the Quo cover band playing with me doing air guitar then lent me a unplugged guitar. They asked if I want a copy of that video, I said noooooo.
