One of my favourite albums, except for Nightride I love all of the tracks just so much - 9,5/10!

On The Level - amazing album.
Their masterpiece. A perfect blend of inventive songwriting combined with blistering rock 'n' roll attack.
There's not an ounce of fat on it - it's a lean mean rocking machine.
Nightride is in my Top 5 all time Quo songs - for those who aren't getting it: crank it up and let it flow through you.
10/10. If you haven't already got the Culture Factory remaster, may I suggest you all go get it straight away!!

I didn't get it for years, Victor.
It was only one day when I was doing some decorating, and it was on in the background, and something clicked - and I thought 'bloody hell, this is a song with Groove (man)!'
So maybe the trick is to just paint your lounge and not pay much attention to it...

Top album. Full of live songs to play (2016:). Lc is very good drummer. He is not Jc, but can handle shuffle as well. Best drummer. Pk was another..

Man, it's too weedy for me....

Not all the tracks for me are classics unlike the unsurpassed Hello(IMVHO)album. Where I Am is certainly not a 10/10 and Nightride for me is Quo by numbers. There are some 10/10 tracks there though, Little Lady,Most Of The Time(live especially), Over And Done,Broken Man,I Saw The Light, Down Down and What To Do. Bye Bye Johnny, I did not mind when I first heard the album, but now it is just simply overplayed and it was not written by the band. You`ll Never Rock Alone sung by Quo fans is a brilliant end to the album.

Best Quo album imo. Second best album of all time after Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell. 10/10

The beginning of the end....5/10 I think you've got the wrong album. OTL is the one with Little Lady, Down Down, Over And Done and I Saw The Light on, not Restless, Queenie and SDFMN!

First of all, I loved the cover. Francis enlarged on the front, Rick on the back in his denims and white scarf. I thought it was so cool. Then a bigger Alan with a smaller Rick and John, and then the same thing with John, Alan and Francis. It made me wonder how they did it, how they managed to trick the eye. I thought it was very clever. I also admired all those photos spread across the inside of the record sleeve. It was hard to concentrate on school stuff with so many things to see, so much to dream about. I loved all the songs on On the Level. That's not something I could say for other (Quo) albums. Little Lady, Down Down and Bye-Bye Johnny got me going. Where I Am was a good track to calm down again, and Most of the Time was just a magic song to me. I liked Broken Man, I Saw the Light and What to Do just a little bit more than Over and Done and Nightride. I played the album to death at the time. It's still one of my favourite Quo albums. So I'd rate it 10/10.

I can't find fault with any song on the album. Even BBJ (which is a parody today imo) It is the constant reminder of how the song used to played
