Modern Romance sounds like a good one for SMOKIE to have done. Can now put a face to Bernie Frost. They could've formed their own 'Travelin' Wilburys' Not a bad song, typical Francis lead break. Thanks for posting that Go home.... You're drunk.

I thought after the EOTR '84 Tour, and Rossi/Frost attempting a solo career (Modern Romance and Jealousy singles) it didn't take off commercially, if it had I doubt that Quo would have 'reformed' as a Band, but it didn't really happen for them, Quo and Francis Rossi needed each other, hence the 'ITAN'86 'comeback' (which I was glad about TBH at the time) Generally, they wrote good but not overly classic songs (Not a patch on Rossi/Young IMHO)but around they time of 'Perfect Remedy' I thought they'd run out of ideas, but some on RTYD and UTI were good ...'Making Waves' I thought (and still do) is a belter

Triggsy, I've seen Airbourne 1/2 a dozen times LIVE in Sydney. Lead singer climbs dangerously high on the speaker stacks. I've never heard a band sound so much like their heroes -AC/DC. This is a compliment I've put their " Black Dog Barking " cd on. Gaz might remember The Candy Harlots' "Five Wicked Ways" album and The Poors' "More Wine Waiter Please" Late 80's/90's rock bands in Australia were commercially accessible whilst keeping their dignity and integrity. The Hard Ons, Tumbleweed, The Mark of Cain from Adelaide God- " My Pal " Melbourne band 1988 The Meanies, Screamfeeder, Magic Dirt, Frenzal Rhomb, Powder Monkeys,Cosmic Psychos, COG, Ammonia,You Am I,TISM, Spiderbait, Grinspoon, The Plunderers, the list goes on
