Being convinced that Dublin wouldn't be the end, and passing up that year on Hammy, so regret that

Buying the RAOTW album for Christmas -77,should've locked my door and thrown away the key after I bought the Apollo Live album in March the same year.... I got it for chistmas that year.... bought 2 more cause I thought there was an error with the pressings.... Little did I know....

None.I got exactly what I wanted on disc from 72 to 76 and 23 incredible live performances in London between 1977 and 1984..Selhurst Park was so bad I don't count it. I've heard many times that Selhurst was superior to the MK gig... but there are no good bootlegs from the Selhurst gig to compare them

I had the chance to see Quo at the NEC in 1979 my mate and his dad offered to take me...I was 10 and my mom said no!!!
I had to wait another 34 years to see the real deal....but boy was it worth it.

Hi All, Having only seen the FF once I would say not making more of an effort to go and see them at least a couple of times between 76 and the 2013 reunion show I went to, having said that in mitigation Life/Work/Family all had to come first....
Geoff. I have similar regrets about Iron Maiden up to 2006. Young man! Young woman! Put some coins in a piggy bank and go and see your good guys once or twice, never mind if you are busy, don't like the venue and you don't have any money. Don't let 20 years pass without checking in how and then. Take it from two old folk.

I don't have any real regrets. I kind of wish that I'd got to Hammersmith in 2013 in time to get a copy of the signed poster, but not a big thing. I got far more from Quo than I ever dreamed of.
I'm sorry they lost their 1970s albums sound, and other things, but that is their regret, not mine. They didn't ask my opinion!

Being too geographically isolated to see the ff.

I would have loved to have seen them at the Greyhound in Croydon in 1970 but I was only seven years old.
Therefore I cannot regret things like that because I had no control or ability to make it happen.
I wish in some respects I had not become so negative about things like Bula and Aquostic but a combination of spending too much time or here listening to others and the fact that the output was poor could only have led to this conclusion..before coming on the old site and this one I would probably have carried on buying product out of habit.
My biggest regret is a silly one.. moving away to the back of the Hammersmith FF gig 2014 before the start of Caroline..I had quite a good position not far from Rick..but I was badly dehydrated following too many beers in the afternoon watching Stated Quo down the road..needed to grab a water..even now I love to watch that clip of RP...totally in his element..almost biting his tongue concentrating without at background piano..epic.
The other regret of course is the lack of interest in the current line up..but without Rick it holds no charm.
Peace and love to all.

My parents not allowing this 19 year old Quo fan to travel to Glasgow Apollo in Oct 76, from Essex for the recording of the live album.

As much as I was a fan of Quo back then, I also loved singers like this.

Not seeing them on EOTR tour.
Also, going to see FR Quo in Glasgow last December with Richie instead of Rick. They sounded ok but it was just SO wrong. Only went to see REO Speegwagon and should have left after their set.
Learnt my lesson and shan't be back.
