I do agree that people should be able to talk freely but I think tiptoeing is still needed for a bit longer. True there's no chance of any more FF reunions now sadly, but I for one would like to see a reunion of all Rick's band mates, friends and family at a memorial concert to celebrate his life. Unfortunately that is difficult if everybody is slagging each other off. To be fair to Francis he gave his reasons for not wanting anymore gigs with the original band and even though I disagree with that he was very open with his views. I haven't seen anyone slagging each other off but happy to be corrected if this the case Cheers Hmm in retrospect maybe I shouldn't have used that phrase but there have been plenty of instances of posts, tweets, comments in interviews, comments at gigs etc. by various band and family members, that have implied bad feeling. I just wanted to point out that inciting 'dishing the dirt' revelations would not be helpful in bringing people together for a memorial concert....

Lads, the other site is good for weather reports. Seriously though, you've made your point about the site. No more comments about it please, unless it's on topic and not just a personal attack. We have a far wider variety of opinions on here, and one person's opinion doesn't make things fact, so don't worry about it. are you going to minehead to keep the factions apart?

Its surely a thrilling and enchanting prerogative to luxuriate in the authority of speaking for fans in general in terms of advising them to keep interest restricted to band members in general, and at the same time have the un-abounded thrill of a personal bias for one of them
I can only sigh and exhale gently and reflect at what could be At least I do know though first hand how liberating and heart fluttering it can be to simper over an idol
Yes really, and then have the prerogative to change my mind
For example, I wish I had been able to do more than just shyly exchange waves with Alan as he outstretched his hand from an open window as he departed speedily in a Limo from Hammersmith after a gig all those years back. I could even have made him some tea
So if I could just get a ticket to the convention....

Living In England I Don't Have To Act Like I'm Having Fun - Screaming Jets, Australian band from Newcastle Which I think is a compliment, meaning you can relax and be yourself, no pretenses, I'd have to ask Dave Gleeson and the band. If I lived in England/UK I'd go and see everything QUO all the time

Alan's Multiple Sclerosis has it's peaks and troughs, good times and bad times. He can't control it. From what I know and have heard, Rick and Alan were quite close. Two lovely fellas, I've met both of them, much nicer than that Francis chap. I'm sure he would've liked to have been at Rick's funeral.

I'd absolutely love to go and pay my respects, but for the price and travelling down from Scotland I'd need a guarantee I could have a few minutes of 1 to 1 with AL + JC, and i don't think it'd be worth the stress of trying! Hope whoever goes has an amazing time as I'm sure you will.

If somebody goes, could you remember to let them know they have a NEW fanatic fan in the USA? In particular, tell Alan I've listened to everything he's done, including the demo songs and all the Bombers stuff on youtube.

Probably as good as it is going to get now with Rick gone.
Part of me is tempted to fly in again from Sydney to attend but I think common sense will get the better of me this time. There is only so much more I can give to the band I adored. I closed the lid on Quo in Dublin 2014 and with the passing of Rick there is nothing more to look forward to. Rossi and Co can do whatever they want and undermine the Quo name even more and more. No interest whatsoever. But yeah it would be great to be amongst like minded fans and to mingle with Alan, John and Bob once more. Sadly though, I don't think that will be.

To go, or not to go: that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of current Quo, Or to take arms against Francis Quo, And by opposing attend? To revolt: to sleep No more; and by a revolt to say we end The farce and the thousand insults That Aquotsick is heir to, 'tis a consummation Devoutly to be wish'd.
You've chosen your name well, tqontq!

Alas, the decision lies with the kings court For those shall be punished thou destroy the Quo legacy And belittle those that suffer Bring on the court jester to rejoice in jovial laughter among our gracious guests (of Alan, John and Bob) God speed Lord Charles of Quo Land
