Quo tickets in the UK are vastly overpriced and have been for years
A few weeks ago you could have seen Blackberry Smoke + support at places like O2 Academy in Bristol/Birmingham/Newcastle, Portsmouth Pyramid, UEA in Norwich, Barrowlands in Glasgow etc etc - for as little as 20 quid at some venues
- just sayin....

Not being your straight man or anything...Southend Kursaal 1975 was how much? My advanced ticket, given to me by my aunt, who worked at the Southend Kursall Box Office was a resonable £1:80 As a time capsule, the year before, I was paying £4 a week rent for a poorly heated room with an outside bog in Stamford Hill (the room was in Stamford Hill too), and a tube ticket half way across town cost 20p. Or was it 30p. Not four quid, anyway. PS and there wasn't any rubbish about advance tickets, presales, agent charges or delivery fees, you either visited the box office, or sent an SAE with your postal order, and if you failed to, you were likely to get your ticket in an unstamped envelope and your mum had to pay the postie at the door, which meant an ear bending for you. (once I moved out I took the precaution of living somewhere within bus distance of all the main halls. Not daft, me! Cold, drafty, room with a gas ring in it and no phone, but 15 mins from the Rainbow.)

I've reluctantly paid £133 for two Iron Maiden tickets for the NEC. Quo style, looks like it will be curtained off at the back. Those prices are the most I will pay, unless it's a festival
