Wasn't John Eden mentioned as the producer for PLC? I would guess John's the obvious ONE to do this. Look at what he's done to ROATW - the Remix and the statements he's made on how Quo should have sounded in his opinion.

It will be interesting to see who produces his final album and just who they get to do the other musical parts, JC and Alan being obvious choices and if they do actually go for a FF sound, my worry is that now Rick is no longer here to oversee the project that Simon Porter gets his talentless, money-grabbing mits all over it and the final result is just Quo even-liter. If only you had put a T instead of the M in mits. Is Simon Porter well endowed moob-wise? I presume he is in the trousers because he's the biggest knob I've ever come across.

From the Rick issue of FTMO. Stolen from elsewhere (Where'd you think?!) Thought some of you might be interested in it
Alan: "The last time I spoke with Rick was... on 7 December last year (2016) ... He was ... enthusiastic about recording a solo album, which, among other things, he was already working on. We were also working in tandem, on tracks for an EP intended for the Frantic Four (or PLC). He had already recorded his guitar parts on two of the new songs, and was about to start on the third."

So does that mean that we can expect a Fourth Chord released official 10 track album, and then also some kind of unofficial PLC 2 track EP, possibly released via a crowdfunding website like Pledge music?

I have feeling that it will be a Rick Parfitt Solo album with 9-10 tracks and then 2-3 Frantic Four songs included as bonus material. And yes, I have a feeling that it will really be the FF, Frame included, as one last big tribute to Rick. They dont even have to meet each other, just send the tapes, put their tracks on and voila! - a much bigger (almost garanteed) seller than Frame will ever achive on his own or with Rossi Quo. Porter and Frame are not stupid, they taste the smell of lots of money here.

I love the "predictions"!
What if, just if, Rick's tunes are all along the lines "Little White Lies" or "Living On An Island"? You couldn't use the FF on it.
Whatever it is I would like to just see a deluxe release of those tracks and maybe a salvage from "Recorded Delivery".
Just have the feeling the PLC stuff will have a different feel and maybe should be released as an EP/download.

I mean the Frantics did originally record it (plus Andy), so how is there an issue with that? Frantics had no issue recording "softer" songs... And it's Rick, I can guarantee most of them are heavy and a couple are on the lighter side

Interesting regards the possible FF tracks, would love them to finish those off with Rossi either as a bonus with the Rick solo album or as a stand-alone release.

But when Quo these days bring out songs of that ilk we're told Nuff and Spud would stop that sort of thing! I feel that some people have the vision of Rick's album being a heads down full on kind of thing, whereas we know Rick does have light and shade in his writing. Whatever it is I look forward to hearing it no matter who is involved.
