I do have an old video interview with Alan (Party Boys period 1986) - quite clear what he thought...
Interviewer - "So what's happening with Status Quo these days?"
Alan - "I've buried the past. We have a management problem - there is no real animosity within the band, it is just other things outside the band have affected things in a big way. Management putting a band called Status Quo behind Richard and Francis is part of that problem."

I'm afraid that is the tactful version. The situation where Francis did not want to work with Alan any more gave rise to the dispute, and predates it. That wasn't management. Or if it was, they were manipulating an existing situation. Francis didn't accept Alan's suspicions about being ripped off financially either. Alan is trying not to rock what's left of the boat here. It got worse later, but I didn't follow that closely, other people know more about that.

Curiously I checked the date of that interview and it is June 1987, well after the court case and release of ITAN. This is also where he stated he would write a book because "alot of people want to know the truth about what's been going on."

That clip with Al is an old one already. Would be interesting to hear a new interview with him, post Rick's passing, but I am almost certain he is not allowed to air his grievances to the media, at least not after the reunion tours were made. There would have been legal agreements made between all parties. That goes to explain why Alan has never released his book and unlikely ever will.
