I kinda think there will be a Frantic Four tour in 2017. In 1967 Parfitt joined the band and they also changed their name to The Status Quo. So a fifty year anniversary tour would not surprise me. Well here's hoping anyway! 1982 =20th anniversary 2012=50th anniversary 2022=60th anniversary Cheers

...Get ready folks...frame is preparing us.. No he isn't !! We shall see..If it's true what john said...ie frame thinks they don't need to do it...that's definitely different mood music than what we have heard for a while...

No 3rd tour , Rossi enjoys pissing about on stage to much , he can't when there's a real rock crowd in front of him . and a real rock band on stage with him. That's worth another shout

Do you acknowledge the change in mood music..and that john is the method to start getting the message out It's interesting because at the Convention he said no chance. So if he's not saying no chance it's a change. He did say it was up to frame. ( which means no chance ! ). However nuff did say he would see us in 2017. But was that just for the next convention

At planet rock awards...John says he believes that things happen in threes..he knows that rick and al want it..but Francis doesn't think they need to do it... Hmmmm mm. ....different mood music...Get ready folks...frame is preparing us.. its going to happen..

Listened to an interview in Summer 2012 with Francis and he gets around to the FF reunion (that was coming some 9 months later in March 2013) last of all. A lot of enthusiasm about CQ touring and usual anecdotes, and expresses huge enjoyment about Bula Quo - but was almost ambivalent discussing the FF. It maybe to do with the fact that a lot was under wraps still at that time about what was to come, and the awkward meetings after so long with Alan and John were still ahead - and so he didn't want to, and couldn't disclose much, but there still comes across that sense, by the way he talks, that CQ was the here and now of importance and enjoyment for him much as it is to date obviously.
On the flip side of course, his relative lack of enthusiasm that has been maintained once again after the reunion tours, and dismissal as being 'nostalgia', should still never be taken as meaning a definite 'no' in terms of the future. He is contrary as we all know anyway, and I have an inkling that he will come under increased pressure to 'fall in line' with the thinking of his band mates, the fans, and also belatedly the management as they recognise that as time ticks by to the end of their career, there has to be at least some kind of finale. In that sense 2016/17, from a historical milestone seems an appropriate place. After all it was Francis, Alan and John who were there following schooldays to the proper beginning of the beginning in 66/67 - and Rick joined in 67.
Hope so anyway - I'm going to make sure I don't miss out that is for sure if such an opportunity does arrive

Don't think Frame is at all interested. It's been and gone. Well done them though......

I'd love it to happen again, but it'll only be if Francis has a change of heart. Maybe the driving force behind a 2017 tour would be diminishing interest in their output & gigs in 2016. At least he knows a final reunion tour guarantees finishing on a high.

No 3rd tour , Rossi enjoys pissing about on stage to much , he can't when there's a real rock crowd in front of him . You may well be right, however he has proved that he can still "do" it. He wont admit it but i bet he loved it. Another tour?? wouldnt suprise me at all.
