Couldn't really tell the difference gates, I bought all those on 8-track tapes. Too small to really notice the difference.

Have you still got them? A nice classic heirloom if so. I was hoping you didn't ask. They ended up being sold at my garage sale along with about another 100 8-tracks. Didn't realize 'til later that my Quo tapes were amongst them. I can't even pin that one on the wife.

I actually prefer the fatter, fuller font as seen on BFY and IYCSTH etc..

I'd never been interested in things like that. Or rather perhaps more accurately simply didn't think about it I was more interested and concerned about the contents of the albums

I loved the Blue for You font when I first saw it but I love it best of all in simple black and white form: However, I hate the broken font type used during the CQ era, like a watered down Quo, which in many ways, it is.

What about the really round font on the first three albums - prefer the change.

Worst thing about the RAOTW cover was {7.8 on the richter scale } or what ever it was , very misleading , more like a 3 on the richter scale .

I never was very interested in fonts. More concerned about logos (if any). If Traffic had ditched their roundabout logo, I would have been much miffed. ( Bad admission for someone who did a course in print design )

The fatter rounder font was the one I knew from 1979/1980 onwards.
I quite liked the 1+9+8+2 one because it felt like a 'posh' anniversary font.
But in 1983 when they went 'back' to the hard edged one - the original one from Hello! - I didn't like it.
It felt like they were trying to modernise it - same in 1988 & 1989 - not for me.
Give me big fatty everytime.

Can't say I've ever noticed the difference, apart from Hello! having a larger space between the words "Status" and "Quo"..
RAOTW was obviously trying to depict an earthquake but with the waveform spelling out the band name...

Why and how have I and a couple of others appeared to have de-registered at some stage in the not too distant past?
Scary!

Scary! The threads from last year. You left remember, and then came back due to public demand.
