Hidden Figures An excellent movie and it's great to see how those women have been honoured...(at the end ) Saw this tonight. Really enjoyed it. Lots of sums and calculations too. And about bloody time their stories were told.

Funnily enough, Mockingjay part 1 on DVD. Sterling, but if you have seen the first Movie and read the books, you more or less have the story and the visuals.

The racism was indeed shocking Gaz. I cheered (in my mind) when Harrison sorted out the bathroom problem. But why did she have take the files with her each time? The film Loving was also set during this time and in the same state. Useful to see them so close together.

Yeah I thought her running to the loo, with all those papers, was odd (really, how much can you read while piddling) but maybe she didn't want that other bloke to sabotage her work... I don't know but she was certainly gifted in the brains dept.

Hi All, Gaz The daughter went to watch T2 and she enjoyed it as a stand alone film even though I suggested she watch T1 first so what do I know ?.......... As far as Dev Patel goes I know his break out role in 'Slumdog Millionaire' (Still have not watched) was really good by all accounts but I did see him in his follow up role in 'The Last Airbender' shame the film bombed really I enjoyed it his part in was well acted I thought... Last night I watched the better of all the follow up movies to the original IMO Jurassic World via (Sky Cinema) An excellent piece of escapism for a couple of hours, the CGI is seamless and looks the part and gives the film the edge of the previous two sequels, looking forward to the next chapter they are allegedly planning for this film......
Starring:-Chris Pratt,Bryce Dallas Howard,Vincent D'Onofrio,Ty Simpkins,Nick Robinson,Omar Sy,B. D. Wong,Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson,Lauren Lapkus,Brian Tee,Katie McGrath,Judy Greer,Andy Buckley,Eric Edelstein,Jimmy Fallon,Jimmy Buffett,Colin Trevorrow,Brad Bird and Jack Horner.
Located off the coast of Costa Rica, the Jurassic World luxury resort provides a habitat for an array of genetically engineered dinosaurs, including the vicious and intelligent Indominus rex. When the massive creature escapes, it sets off a chain reaction that causes the other dinos to run amok. Now, it's up to a former military man and animal expert (Chris Pratt) to use his special skills to save two young brothers and the rest of the tourists from an all-out, prehistoric assault.
Geoff. Thought it was a bit silly to be honest. If the dinosaurs had started singing it wouldn't have surprised me.

Lost count how many times I've seen this & still makes me laugh. The first and the best "The shits gonna hit the fan when he hears about this" "He said to me doc I don't know where I'll be ten years from now and I won't smell too good"

Hi All, Hi All, Last night I watched the 1941 Biopic film They Flew Alone ( Via BBCi available until 25/03 ) the Amy Johnston story but also dedicated to others early fliers of her ilk and the ATA. Not to bad of it's time really the only real noticeable problem was Amy Johnsons Yorkshire accent seemed to keep changing through out the film from really thick Ee-by-gum to Buck house posh.....
Starring:- Anna Neagle,Robert Newton,Edward Chapman,Joan Kemp-Welch,Nora Swinburne,Charles Carson,Brefni O'Rorke,Muriel George and Martita Hunt.
Amy Johnson achieved world-wide fame as one of Britain's best-loved pilots. She set numerous long distance records in the 1930s, both alone and with pilot Jim Mollison
TRAILER:- Geoff.

Hi All, I watched the kids animation film 'The Angry Birds' via (Sky Cinema) I found it quite funny in places as adults can relate to some jokes that kids wouldn't get, just a good take your brain out and watch film (In my case not that difficult)......
Find out why the birds are so angry. When an island populated by happy, flightless birds is visited by mysterious green piggies, it's up to three unlikely outcasts - Red, Chuck and Bomb - to figure out what the pigs are up to.
Geoff.
