My first Quo gig, and indeed my first ever gig, was on the 5th of December 1992 at the SECC in Glasgow.
My last Quo gig was at the Academy in Glasgow on 9th of April 2014.
Think I saw the band in its various forms about 20 times in total.

Wembley Arena October 1999, bit of a young pup, born in the wrong era. If it helps, I'm from good stock. Dad is old guard like many on here, I think his first was Hammersmith around 1973 and my mum bless her saw them on the End of the Road Tour a couple of times and multiple times after that.

Blackpool Opera House, XS All Areas Tour
It was supposed to be on 16th December 2004 but was rescheduled, due to either Francis or Matt being ill, to 24th January 2005
Edit: Just checked Rhino's tourlog and it was Francis who was under the weather.

Well as a young-un like some others, my first Quo gig was the filmed NEC 1989 gigs, aged 4, yes that's right I was 4 years old, hardcore hey? My dad was a massive Quo fan and lived and breathed the 70's, think he went to Bingley Hall gig in 1976 or 1977, not sure which year. I'm not sure which night we went to in 1989 at the NEC, was it 2 or 3 nights they played that tour?, but we knew it had been filmed, so if it was only one night filmed we got lucky, because I always remember dad saying on our way out that we'll have to look out for it regards the recording. I'd watched the End Of The Road gig & The Rocking Through The Years 1986 video non stop for about 2 years leading up to 1989, as well as obviously all dads Quo vinyl being blasted out almost daily. He was big on lot's of the classic good stuff from like of Free & Bad Company, Stones, Creedence, Cream, Beatles, Rory Gallagher, bits of Queen & AC/DC among others, but Status Quo really was or had become his #1 go to band during the 70's, so when I was born in 1985, I thought Status Quo was what music was & in 2024 still think it bloody well is!!! That's why the FF reunions gigs were so great for fans like me, because I'd had that version of the band & it's music pumped into me since birth, but unlike my father, never actually got to see them live until then for obvious reasons. So although for some, this below might not be the holy grail, for me as a 4 year old this was my first taste of Quo live, it still wasn't bad, even if I did probably say to my dad at the time, they don't look like they do on the videos I've been watching non stop! Two of my faves at that time from the Rocking Through The Years VHS was the Paper Plane & Roll Over Lay Down promo videos. Anyone wondering how did I see, well I stood I my seat obviously!
