I do remember Quo appearing in a few of my sister's 'girls' magazines, back in the day.

Not only is Parfitt wearing a syrup but it's an ill fitting syrup at that, it's actually sitting on his head. It also looks like Lancaster has just called Rossi a wanker and enjoyed it. JC?

Is that you with the AI again? 4th Chord .... step away from the computer. I did wonder that Especially with Spud looking like some sort of yogi about to offer the band a course in transcendental meditation Francis looks slightly sceptical, but at least he and Alan look like themselves. Mind you, I might be wrong. It might have been pulled straight from 4th Chord 's Jackie annual from 1974

I'm glad it's genuine because that was my first impression. Then all the AI stuff earlier....And I started to wonder.
Personally I went for their harder look than the dreamboats. But on first seeing that photo was like stepping back in time.

I used to read Jackie mortified and I remember seeing Quo in there. Had quick online search, couldn't find any pics but I did find this choice quote from 2014, when a reader remembers the mag, 50 years on in the Daily Mail. Gosh that means its now 60 years old. She adds: 'Where else could a girl from Middle England learn about the merits of triple denim, especially in waistcoat form, as modelled by Status Quo?'

My sis used to get the Jackie, curiousgirl. And another one that I can't recall the name of. Something like Fab 208. Or was that an ice lolly?

The poster was taken from the Bravo, a German music mag we used to buy (or nick) because it often featured Quo. Not sure why AI censored the B? Do the bots hate a B?
