so, Quo with Roy [the first 3 albums] is effectively Mk 0, & the FF doesn't become a different Mk with the addition of Andy - it's one way of looking at it, I suppose.

Yes it is. Having a couple of younger members has given the band a bit of freshness, but we weren't looking for freshness, we were looking for Status Quo.

You know, it's such a silly thing, but I can't get used to seeing Andy on guitar. 🤷 I know what you mean. Looking at that photo, I'm reminded of something about 'a formation dance team' quote... back in the 60s. Maybe I'm thinking of something else. But that's what that photo reminds me of. The quote was from the January 1983 interview Rossi and Parfitt did with Tommy Vance.

For me, the FF lineup was MK2.
Add Andy, RAOTW to NTL, MK3.
With Pete, 1982 to Livid, MK4.
As nothing was ever recorded in the studio, the Paul Hirsch lineup doesn't really cont IMHO.
I make it we are on MK8, without all the additional Aquostic and Freddie Edwards gigs.

My advice: go to either Swansea or Wolverhampton as the Belfast gig is more polished. Why will Belfast be slicker than the later ones? Or do you mean the later ones, Swansea and Wolverhampton will be more polished? Oh dear Ceegee, remember the word "Polished" is on the cringe list of all fans. There is a list of banned words. They include. Cruxie Tommy Pip Accordion Sun City Selhurst Park Cannon Ball Wives

I heard this as being from Rossi's brother who said "My mates went to see you the other night and said you looked like a fcuking formation dance team"

Rossi killed the Frantic Four and Status Quo the Rockband and I will never forgive him. He could play in my hometown on the market square for free and I would stay at home doing the laundry. I hope you find comfort in these remarks and don't get hung out to dry or put through the wringer.
