Saw this the other day:
They mime to RAOTW. It's the 1988 re-recorded version, except there are some synth horns added and Rick's motif at the end is mixed slightly different. I wonder if this is an alt mix they had at some point (like Marguerita Time on Cannon and Ball show).

It's just the Barrymore show band playing along - the lick at the end is played too stiff to be Rick and it simply be an alt mix

I wonder which musician first thought wearing a suit jacket with blue jeans was a good look? We all did it back then and all looked shocking. Rhino seems to have had his hair styled by Peter Tork's hairdresser too, very curious. And hosts who insist on "joining in" with you on TV shows... Thomas Gottschalk could never resist.

Yeah, I think we all went through that "phase". Most of us got over it very quickly. But some didn't. Especially with jeans that looked like they'd been bought from your mum's catalogue I've seen a few presenters here in the UK do that whole guitar/hairy wig thing. Philip Schofield and Alan Titchmarsh springing immediately to mind. It does make you cringe. And hope your mates aren't watching  I know, I know: Snobbery is alive and kicking among Quo fans. Even between different line-ups of the band |
