Actually yes !! The wife got one given which she gave to me.. 😍 Then the daughters dog ate it.. 😩 I hope it was milk or white chocolate for the sake of the dog. Never saw it Granny ! It was in a blue wrapper, that's all I remember. The same dog,, not mine, daughters, nicked a bag of toffees a few weeks earlier, ate the lot. Yet all the wrappers were on the floor... !! Amazed me that. 🙄

Amazed me that. 🙄 We had a beagle who we left in the car for a short time one summer evening. Usually he would lie down and go to sleep. This time when we returned we discovered he had found a bag of Mentholyptus boiled sweets in the glove compartment and he had got the wrapper off each one, sucked the sweet, found it unpleasant and spat it out. We had a hell of a job cleaning the car.

Clever animals dogs,, the bugger nicked my cheesecake of the side the other week..☹ When I had a dog, many years ago, I left some spring onions on the worktop, well back from the edge. She still managed to get them, and dog breath took on a whole new meaning! Another time, I left some ibruprofen tablets in their foil on the settee, and she ate them. When I rang the vet he told me to get her to drink salt water (try getting a dog to drink that - I had to use a jug and pour it down her throat!). She was violently sick and brought the tablets back up, and my husband made me clear up the sick as it was my fault. I hate vomit with a passion, I heave if I see/smell it!

Although we all have seen these programmes before, it really is a massive plus that a prime(ish) BBC channel on a Public holiday is putting on a Quo evening. Hats off again to the Beeb!

Our old staffie managed to eat all the chocolates off the Christmas Tree one year but somehow the empty wrappers were still on the tree and looked pristine as if the chocolate was still inside. God only knows how she did it as she wasn’t the most delicate of creatures. We have a Shih Tzu now who managed to get on the dining room table and demolish a whole box of milk tray a few months back. Took him to the vets where he had to have an injection to sick it all back up which cost a fortune.

The brother is watching it... He was there during the heyday and saw it all... Never a major Quo fan but, yano what I mean...
"This gig is outstanding! A brilliant way to complete the circle! It shows their transferability!"
Maybe I'm wrong... Maybe a lot of us were wrong... Maybe we hold them to the standards we know they are capable of. Maybe they had their day and this is just them having fun and Francis' thing, with nowt to prove...
I don't know...
I always looked upon Quo as a band, who proved everyone wrong and to me, being Irish, a lot of the songs sound too Nathan Carter... But, people who aren't fans see their musicianship so...Guess I'm wrong.
Long live it 🤟❤️

It was good too see the excellent documentary and the "different" side of quo in the acoustic gig again. However, what would have rounded it off nicely would have been a repeat of the 1982 NEC concert which was on BBC (I think). The TOTP clips are mostly mimed and don't really capture Quo at their best!

Maybe the BBC have a 'QUO LIVE AT THE NEC 1982' (40TH ANNIVERSARY FULL CONCERT EDITION IN HD) scheduled for next month!!! Sorry I got a bit carried away, I blame it on the chocolate
