Yes, I can hear the Abba influence, perhaps especially from 'On and On and On' (but also Summer Night City or Does your Mother Know!!!). Rossi appreciates Abba and no doubt the influence gets through a bit but he cannot reach their heights of musicality or craft and unfortunately the result is very often poor, bland mediocrity. Off topic but, Agnetha (Blonde) is the most beautiful woman to ever exist in my eyes! She oozes class, beauty and sexiness in those videos! If a time travel is ever possible (it's not) I'm going back to marry her! Anyways yeah, I like PBT. Always preferred the dark one myself. We could have a double wedding when we travel back to 1976

Take me to another place, a place that I can go Where nobody looks the same and everybody's slow Nothing seems to matter, yet somebody seems to care Even though it's clearer now, there's something in the air Oh, oh, what can I say? Oh, oh, what can I say?

Always thought it was an odd one and couldn't make up my mind. I still can't. It was the drumming that caught my attention at first. I'm no expert but it sounds really good. The song is put together very cleverly and there's a lot going on. Lyrically, a bit strange. No idea what the song's about. This is maybe as quirky as Quo get. I recall Francis saying that he likes to stick the word 'blues' in a title when the song isn't actually the blues. Likes to throw people a bit. I think we'd worked that out with Rock 'N' Roll There's a touch of that low, quiet singing in the verses - sounding almost secretive - that he also did on Roll The Dice. The change of key for the chorus is typical Francis, though, and renders at least that part of the song fairly predictable. All very analytical. Bottom line is, this isn't bad but it's not essential. Don’t think it’s means anything. The last lyric is… It doesn’t mean a thing Not anything at all It’s something good to sing Pennsylvania Blues tonight. Which is admittedly quite cool

I like this one, always have. Jeff Lynne and George H were together in the Travelling Wilburys, who also played soe early gigs somewhere in Pennsylvania. Maybe it's really about the tune. It doesn't sound much like ELO to me.
