A bit different to the norm but alas doesn't quite work for me.

Horrible keyboards. And god know what happened in the 12 months between “Is there a better way” and this.

Never liked this at all.
I know the RAOTW album gets (fairly) slated for the thin sound.
Why doesn't it get slated for the the songs that should just have never made it on to a Status Quo album, this being on of them.
To much filler, not enough killer.

Just me then Always liked it. I love Rick's work on this. He seems to have borrowed some of the riff from the VERY long Forty-Five Hundred Times and plays it in the background during the verses. I thought that at the time and I still think that. Francis's solo is also rather splendid, if a little effect laden. I prefer it to Is There A Better Way if we're going down that road. Although there is an element of hair splitting seeing I like them both. Just not equally

Not just you mortified. I like this one too. And I enjoyed the chat from John Eden on how he mixed it. Thanks for sharing the link 4th.

for me it's another song I've appreciated more over the years. I never thought the songs were particularly the issue with Rockin' All Over The World, it was the sound that was the problem - no ooomph! The remix of the album is interesting, but somewhat serves to prove that you can't bring out what was never put in.

Liked it the moment I heard it, the repeated "Too Far Gone" at the end is great.
