Yeah, they're a bit crass to say the least " She's in the club and she's accusing me...." Boys, eh? It's the F.B.I. and C.I.A. shot the sheriff bit that makes me put this high on the skip list. Oh, yeah. Forgot about that one. I presume the whole song is about being unlucky, picked on and then denial. Or as we call it up here; whinging

The writing credit of Rossi, Lancaster, Bown caught my eye straight away on the vinyl album. That's intriguing I thought. Especially now, as we know Rossi and Lancaster were possibly in a push pull relationship and both seeking some control over direction.
The track had not been a highlight from the album for me at the time of release but there again JS is fairly consistent so highlights are not especially relevant. Quite enjoy listening to the odd ones out or quirky tracks from Quo from the past and hearing them in different way to my first expectations when buying the vinyl albums.
The production was right up there with the times and fresh sounding but not pandering too much to the trends either.

Unusual for Quo in that the drumming is largely based on the toms. Never a huge favourite but I've always liked it and the blink-and-you'll-miss-it solo is a corker. Iffy lyrics here and there but let's be honest, there are far worse offenders.

Nice but not great. Typical Quo cockney dialect to make it catchy.

The start of the song is pretty good a good Coghlan number regarding the drums. One of those rhyming songs “ Name of the game always the same never again etc..”
