Been playing it continually in the car, most notable is there is a real 'chunk' to the JCQ 'sound' indeed it IS reminiscent of the classic Quo era of '3 Guitarists and a Drummer' John will be forever the one member who was always 'Classic Quo', leaving the Band some 40 years (!) ago this year, it was the end of the era indeed, and I'm sure the 'JCQ' production/sound pays tribute to this...Once more, it's a fine time to be a Quo fan (No publicity stunts/dodgy covers or cabaret required ) Well done John, Mick, Rick and Pete, the album will be worth the wait I'm sure

Classy comments from John. Fully deserved success in the twilight of his career. Let's get out there and support them wherever they are gigging - whilst we can and whilst he can.

This is the physical singles sales chart isn't it? Sadly, it shows how much more dominant downloading & streaming are as JCQ don't even crack the top 100 on the main singles chart Not sure how it works, but I don’t think the digital version has been released yet? True though, that it may not compete with more current/mainstream releases Aye, not wanting to piss on anyone's chips, just seeking clarification. It's a great achievement regardless, probably comes as a big surprise to many folk.

Indeed, he's a classy guy, imo. I've got Friday 23rd July penciled in on the calendar, hoping that the JCQ gig at The Brook, Southampton, is going to go ahead.

Thanks very much everyone for your magnificent support. I knew we could do it... we did the same with the Rock Remembers Rick EP. We were very unlucky not to get Number One. Still, it's a superb result!

I have to say that this is incredible. Well done to ALL of those involved. It really goes to show that there is a huge audience out there that want their Quo as it should be. I cannot wait to see them again. Fantastic live if you have not seen them before!

Update - a second week in the Top 10, now at number 9 inbetween Liam Gallagher and Billie Eilish - that's some pretty heavyweight competition we're holding our own against!

And some old competition as well I see - the 30 year old, but rather glorious, track by Kiss ‘Down on your Knees’ which I assume is about praying.
