Sounds like a good night. If you play London I would try to attend. Maybe @bluehighway could organise a ‘meet and greet’ package for members of this board... I’m sure he wouldn’t charge too much. How about a nice photo posing in front of his organ?🤔

Quite a few have worshipped infront of my organ over the years...

Saw the poster and really wanted to attend, but it was too difficult to arrange. Gutted though.

That's a real shame, we had such a blast and it's such a lovely venue too. If you're ever near another gig in the future let me know and I'll send you some tickets.

Clips sounds great It wasn't until very recently that I figured that out myself. Although of course I was aware of some of the big names he was playing with... Then, in GoodTimes, I saw the full-page advert for several T. C. albums and found both his user name (from on here) and the one from the other forum. And I finally had put 2+2 together!

He blew his own cover on this board by posting an old photo of the material he used to drag all over the world. The photo was well known to some of us. Came as a total surprise, we were all in awe, even Davy.

That was some version of 'Davy's On The Road Again'! Fabulous stuff.
Loved the track back in the 70s and attempted to play it in a band I was in back then. Though we didn't have a keyboard player at the time, so lacked something, as those keyboard chord sequences are integral to the song. Didn't have a brass section either come to think of it!
Quo and Lizzy aside, there are some songs for me that instantly conjure up memories of the mid/late 70s and Davy's on the Road is one of those as is Boz Scaggs 'Lido Shuffle' (keyboards make' eth that track) and Toto's 'Hold The Line'.

Love that song. As a bit of a digression, my favourite recording of it (aside from the original on WATCH) is a live version from the early 2000s. And guess what Mick Rogers throws into the guitar break? ROLD, of all songs!
