Just had a listen to the Swedish version and it's exactly the same as the version on FITLC? Hi Gav....was it the Swedish version of Famous you have ? The compilation I bought in Sweden definitely had an extra bit at the start....it was blink and you miss it though. I’m not sure where it is ...that could be a task for me whist going out less at the moment!! Hi, it is "The Swedish Collection" i have, with Claudette on it plus one or two others from the FITLC album. Definitely exactly the same on my versions!

I listened to my copy of 'The Swedish Collection' and what you hear at the start of "Claudette" is the ending of "Good Golly Miss Molly".
Cheers!

Brilliant!!!! I’ve been wondering about this since 2004!!! Well spotted !! So it’s just bad editing as opposed to something that got chopped out!! Lol, the mystery is solved. Cheers for clearing it up 👍👍

My deluxe editions ain't arrived yet. No doubt caught in Amazon's backlog of orders. Or seized by the lock-down police Either way, they haven't even been dispatched. A virus that affects the delivery of Quo CD's? That's just taking things too far The Quovonovirus? Or, to be more accurate, Quovid-19?

The complete gig If it goes my way; Disc 1 - Sutton Park Gig, Roadhouse Medley (Anniversary Waltz part 25 Single) & Wembley 1990 bits Disc 2 - Knebworth '90 / Caroline, Roll Over Lay Down and Little Lady (Butlins '90) Disc 3 - Butlins '90 continued Please make this happen !!👍👍 Dark azza200We thought the VHS copy was without any edits at all but actually it is a sub-edit. Interviews are still present over the start of a couple tracks but there are absolutely no NEC 1982 or Promo Video intrusions during songs... Full Dirty Water and Whatever You Want... If people would still want that releasing as Deluxe Bonus content, let me know

If people would still want that releasing as Deluxe Bonus content, let me know I'd definitely love to get a copy of that gig in as full a form as possible. It is quite a unique gig, as Quo were obviously playing much bigger venues at the time. So obviously the atmosphere and performance will be different with them playing in a venue that is more akin to a small club. Be great to have a good recording of that.

Just received my copy of Rock 'Til You Drop and realised that the live tracks from Sheffield are in a different running order than when they were performed.

I didnt have an actual setlist to hand from Sheffield and I'd assumed they played The Price Of Love earlier in the set rather than after Mystery Med and Rain.

It’s still, for my money, been the best Quo deluxe release so far. The fact we got stuff like The Price of Love was brilliant 👍👍

It’s still, for my money, been the best Quo deluxe release so far. The fact we got stuff like The Price of Love was brilliant 👍👍 Just looking back from all the docs and emails from the time. Fairly confusing with the amount of emails that were sent between the group helping with the deluxes, frozenhero can back me up on that The original tracklisting for Disc 3 was;- Mystery Medley (Sheffield Arena / 21st Sept 1991) In The Army Now (Glasgow SECC / 21st Sept 1991) Down Down (Glasgow SECC / 21st Sept 1991) Roll Over Lay Down (Glasgow SECC / 21st Sept 1991) Let's Work Together (Glasgow SECC / 21st Sept 1991) Little Lady (Birmingham NEC / 21st Sept 1991) Whatever You Want (Birmingham NEC / 21st Sept 1991) Rockin' All Over The World (Wembley Arena / 21st Sept 1991) Burning Bridges (Wembley Arena / 21st Sept 1991) Bye Bye Johnny (Wembley Arena / 21st Sept 1991) Prior to being re-ordered etc... 10th Sept 2019, I emailed about whether we could get various other tracks licensed for the release (Paper Plane, The Price Of Love, Rain (this was accidentally included on the original listening discs, so it had already been remastered) The Anniversary Waltz and the full performance of Bye Bye Johnny from Wembley) and the following day, they were licensed and added to the final master list. In the end, we ended up using Army from the Birmingham show so it was more of a balance of tracks from all 4 concerts. All in all, tons of ideas were being thrown around really late on and that's why the online shop listings ended up with outdated tracklistings. 21st October 2019, we had changed the live additional content on Perfect Remedy to the 17th December 1989 Birmingham N.E.C. show rather than the following nights performance that was released on VHS / LaserDisc... before it was changed again and they ended up using the audio from the original release.

My involvement with this series has been a bit haphazard, I agree

What about the 1998 versions of Whatever You Want and Don't Waste My Time that are on the Army CD Single, will they be released as bonus tracks on anything?

What about the 1998 versions of Whatever You Want and Don't Waste My Time that are on the Army CD Single, will they be released as bonus tracks on anything? Good question. They were always part of my draft for "Famous in the Last Century", alongside the several non-LP tracks from around the era (since Mike Paxman nixed their inclusion on the "Under the Influence" remaster), but the rights to that album are no longer with Universal if I'm not mistaken, so I'm really not sure we'll see them anywhere soon.
