I would appear to have remarkably similar taste to PF, only the Voivod so far I didn't get. Lots of thrash then, testament, flotsam and jetsum etc in addition to "the big 4". I was also desperate for my boogie fix since Quo vacated that space, got albums by Michael Katon, and got into Southern Rawk , molly hatchet, blackfoot etc etc etc Got very into Georgia Satellites, ZZtop etc etc. Also listened to the LA scene, G n R, LA guns, faster pussycat etc etc

Doomsday for the deceiver was very good although I haven't listened to it in decades. Also the first three Testament albums were great. But yes all of who you mention were staples on my Death deck. Happy times.

Surprised you didn't have mystery Island as top track 😆
Was amazed how well Go Go Go went down live
I could do a great job of saying what music I was listening to in 1989, struggling to remember 2013!!

Day 4 Bula Quo Rating: 1/5 Best track : Never leave a friend behind What was I listening to in 2013 Reunion gig cds Carcass Surgical Steel Black Sabbath 13 Kvelertak Meir Death Angel The Dream Calls for Blood Watain The Wild Hunt Ihsahn Das Seelenbrechen You’ve surprised me there ! That’s why it must be difficult for bands to decide what to leave off an album as the fan base likes different stuff. For me the best track is Go Go Go by a mile.... Never Leave a Friend behind reminds me of musical theatre somehow . No rights or wrongs- just preference 👍
