And non Maiden fans as well. The guy really is something else. Talk about talented in many fields! Oh i agree he clearly has not let fame go to his head & is very down to earth. The sort of guy you could chat with down the pub and talk about anything Strange I have always thought of him as a Grade A prick. Public school boy pretending to be jack the lad. His book, dodges every major issue in the band he was in for so long.

Maiden live are still a great live act.
The current stage show is great stuff.
The set has many a duff song in it. A run or 2 or 3 three newer songs that are just average fayre to me. Such a shame they fail to play the Ancient Mariner.
The sound was much better than on recent tours and Bruce sings much better. Although they really should drop Run to hills. He simply can not sing it any more. The high notes are beyond him.
However it was great stuff.

Bruce Dickinson's What Does This Button Do? book is a must read for any Maiden fan Unlike his previous effort "The Adventures of Lord Iffy Boatrace" - complete crap.

The tea or the gig? Belatedly <waves> back! I loved the staging and the spectacle of it all. First time seeing them and it definitely is a show! I am definitely a 'casual' though. I loved 666 and Run to the hills which I suppose are very much the RAOTW/DD equivalents!

Good gig at the 02 last night (Saturday).Sound was much better than last year.Setlist was ok good to hear a couple of Blaze Bailey tunes again.Having said that nothing off Somewhere In Time or Killers.Fear of The Dark,Hallowed Be Thy Name,The Trooper and Run to the Hills I could have done without hearing again. Probably give the next album tour a miss and wait for the greatest hits setlist. Shame a certain other band couldn’t have taken a leaf out of Maidens book. Bruce still has an amazing voice and you wouldn’t think he was 60 the way he flys around the stage Cheers
