Monday night in Brno, Czech Republic, looking forward to it. Seems longer than two weeks since the two gigs in the Canary Islands.

Yes, I've heard they keep that one in just to spite the hardcore.

I really liked it when I first heard it on John Fogerty's album but I'm a huge Creedance Clearwater Revival fan. Listening to it again now I think John's rockier edged voice makes it, maybe Quo should switch lead vocals on it to Richie, that should please Francis

Off topic a bit but the John Forgarty version reminded me. On Sunday afternoon, I was invited to hear some young West End singers singing tunes and stuff. And I was most surprised when they broke into Proud Mary just before the break. Good to know the old tunes are still popular.

But would they know it from Creedence, or Ike & Tina Turner, or just Tina? Maybe they just like the AA advert.

I also noticed that the musical of Tina Turner's life has recently opened and replaced the one about Carole King. I couldn't make sense of why they were singing that song because I don't associate it with Tina. But you've got it. Thanks.

I was once watching a not so great film and it ended with a song so beautiful I had to look for it on the internet. Turned out to be Grand Funk Railroad. I knew the band, had some of their stuff, but that song: brilliant. And now I'm wondering which song it was. B*ll*cks.
