I have never and would never criticise the FF, so you remember wrong FW. The gigs I went to were top notch and I would have attended a third tour in a heartbeat. It just strikes me that most people on here criticise the current band in numerous different ways, numerous different times and it's let's face it how many times do people need to say it. You could say the same of those on here who blindly praise the band. You could say that yes, who is he though let's get him banned.

I seem to remember you were among the likes of Fisherman and Teleboogie, who criticised the FF, on the first night in 2013, from a mobile phone clip, which last 14 seconds, that was filming the lights and not the band, on the original board.

I don't need to attend a gig to know what's bad about it. I'm not going to go into detail on what is bad because I don't want to get into a debate or end up in trouble down the line. Facts are, it's just shit. This is a band, that prided itself on getting the crowd going, no matter how bad the viewpoint was on the band. These crowds look like they want to be elsewhere and I don't give a shit what is said about the crowds etc, an image doesn't lie. There are fans scrolling through their phones and an entire section empty....No one scrolled through the programme or had what essentially was an entire arena unsold in their day....Not the 70's, not the 80's, not the 90's or the 00's
Status Quo will always be Francis, Alan, John and Rick. People can dress it up as they like but, that's the facts! It's like where in other bands you could replace certain members and not notice a change. You noticed it big time once one of those four were taken out. However, regardless of the rights and wrongs, it carried on without three of them and even though some of the recorded output was dodgy, the live shows performances could never be questioned up to 2012, unless it was in comparison to the FF
What I will say is, despite not having Rick's range or vocal power, Richie isn't a bad singer at all. Far better than Rhino anyways.
I only needed a mobile phone to show me that...

Oh you could question them live long before 2012. They fell off the cliff edge in 85 never ever close after that. After the End of the Road they were no longer a great band live. Through the 80s into the 90s they were pish. Playing at a temp that didnt suit the songs. When Matt came in they improved till about 2008.

But again, I said you couldn't fault them unless you compared them to the pre 85 years. You could fault a lot of performers comparing them to Quo gigs pre 1985
