And I can confirm that these 3 setlists are all correct! There's a shot of the Wembley Setlist taped to Andy Bowns keyboard at one point... So I'm only assuming the Sheffield setlist is the exact same as the Wembley one, as you never get to see that one Glasgow Setlist; DOWN DOWN ROLD LITTLE LADY LETS WORK TOGETHER BURNING BRIDGES MEDLEY WYW ITAN RAOTW Birmingham Setlist; DOWN DOWN ROLD LITTLE LADY LETS WORK TOGETHER BURNING BRIDGES MEDLEY WYW ITAN RAOTW Wembley Setlist; WYW PAPER PLANE ROLD MEDLEY RAIN ITAN BURNING BRIDGES RAOTW WALTZ/BBJ Looking out for Caroline...can't see her..

I haven't got a rip - I only ripped the commentary version. However I do have the VHS still stashed away in my cupboard so I could dust it off and put it in the player and have a crack. Would be very grateful if you did this! Makes it easier to put a full gig together using the VHS audio without having to replace some areas with the Birmingham NEC 1989 audio... Still trying to get a copy of the other documentary that was shown on TV, which contained Paper Plane and the proper ending to the Mystery Medley Will see what I can do.

Seems funny they can change the set list 3 times in a day, but have trouble changing the running order from year to year.

After watching the documentary again over the past weekend, I've realised why I've always heard Caroline during the interview with the 'Penguin Crew' at the Birmingham N.E.C. gig... They must have held a karaoke competition or something before Quo came on as someone is singing along to the (Brit Awards) Medley.
And during the interview with Status Quo // James Hall, you can hear the band playing Let's Work Together in the background.

Here's the Channel 4 Documentary (again), which I've found out was titled Status Quo: Rocking All Over The UK. It was broadcast on the 5th October 1991 at 11:00pm, and was re-broadcast at some point in December 1991.

I don't know where the Rocking All Over The UK title came from unless it was just something that was put in the tv listing in a magazine or whatever but I recorded both the original broadcast and the repeat and it was only ever shown as Rock 'Til You Drop. Also I'm 99.9% sure that video is the repeat as Derry Quo is at the start at Northolt waving the flag and on the original broadcast he tells Tarrant that Quo are on their way. Memory may be playing tricks but I am almost 100% sure Paper Plane was only on the repeat, I recorded every clip of Quo from TV between 1986 and 1994 but no longer have the tapes to be 100% sure.

The title came from the Channel 4 Archive. I contacted them to try and track down a master copy, and the hunt continues. Around 2:19 is the bit were Tarrant gets told that Quo are on their way, leaving the BBC Television Centre with Cheryl Baker. Paper Plane was on both versions of the broadcast, however, the December broadcast had the full version of Paper Plane, and also featured the intro to Whatever You Want. I don't have a copy of the December broadcast, but I think they will have had to remove the Brit Awards stuff or possibly the Live Aid footage which gave them the extra bit of time to play around with. Shame you don't have your tapes anymore as I've been trying to hunt down the December revised broadcast for a while. Cheers

It will have been a rough mix more than likely, before the final mix was done for the full show audio mix / video copies that would be kept in the archives. If / when the multitracks get remixed, I'll make sure that Rossi guitar is higher in the mix than the keys during Paper Plane. The lead breaks are barely audible. Cheers

ROLD sounding good there.
One of the few tracks that has retained its power over the years and not descended into comedy (apart from the years Francis tried to sabotage the solos). I imagine you'd have to give this one 100% on stage, or more. A beast, if done right. Serious Quo music!
