Quo management only care about themselves. Too busy prattling on about a "brand new hits medley" on the laugh-a-minute This Morning. Only interested if their own cheeky chappie circus act benefits. Because it's a story about a true rock music legend passing away, they couldn't promote rock to save themselves, nor be able to pay respect without trivialising it with some gimmicky b******t.
As for FTMO...

CQ try to distance themselves as far away from rock music as possible (Laughable considering they make a living off it) I also recall Francis not liking Lemmy very much after some incident in the 80's.....Then again, that's Francis. He shafted his best and only true mate
I'm not going to pretend I was a Motorhead fan but, Lemmy was one of the reasons, albeit small reason, why I picked up an instrument and got into rock music....I'll always appreciate that.
As for CQ...Fuck them and Porter

No idea about Quo themselves but Yvonne and Paul who run FTMO could be away on holiday or anything this time of year,I'm sure it's not done on purpose. They work extremely hard to try keep the fans up to date with info and running the fan club etc so I think criticism of them is a bit unfair Cheers

It's not the fan club, but the Quos official site who should be paying their respects to Lemmy. But who runs the official quo website ??

Anyone follows Regg at FB? He doesn't have his own fb page, as far as I can tell. Only comes up as a wiki page. RPJnr does though. So it official Quo or nothing.

Other bands put out statements on their Twitter or Facebook pages. Quo put out a link to a This Morning performance from over a month ago

Was there an official statement for Jess Jaworski when he died?. As Lemmy had been onstage with them in 1986 and had worked with Rick,a perfunctory tribute from the official site/FB page would have been the least to expect.

I think there wasn't an official statement re Jess., it was on Spuds page,, it was the same weekend Rick had his heart attack on the bus, mind you Rossi rolled over and went back to sleep, WTF..I rest my case

Flip the coin and you could argue that these 'statements' from bands and artists could be seen as arse-licking, or jumping on the bandwagon, or attention seeking for credibility points.
It's not compulsory for bands/artists to make a cyber statement, and nor should it be.
If a band or whoever doesn't pay their respects publicly, it tells us nothing of their thoughts privately and isn't an indicator of their level of respect.
IMO, anyway!

Yeah lets flip the coin back, if Simon Porter thought for a second that he'd get publicity, or attention for jumping on any band wagon, they would have posted something about Lemmy last night. A Simple post on Quo's FB page to pay respect to the Legend that was Lemmy would have been a nice gesture..........IMO, Anyway.
