Thanks all! I've had a really bad week and in spite of the set list, I know Quo will put a smile on my face. Sorry to sound so desperate though! I'm sure I will see familiar faces when I get there. I know kursaal and Loz are going, I'll look out for them!

Solemn question: no touts around? No, possibly not. There were security people all over the place. Also it wouldn't be much of a buyer's market :-( They had their uses, though.

I didn't want to say until after the gig, but I had an email from stub hub last week which mentioned Quo in the header. And I had a look. There were a lot of Quo tickets for about £30 - much further back than Viv's seats which were v good. But the cheap tickets weren't that bad. On the sides where I sat to see Mark Knopfler (paid 62 plus fees) but not at the very, giddy top.

We had good last minute (almost literally - last few hours) tickets from Viagogo for ZZ Top earlier in the year, but I'ts chancy, once all the VAT and delivery charges are added, it puts the price up quite a bit. Also at short notice they expect you to collect them from somewhere in central London - not much good if you are going to Wembley! The ones I got were print-at-home.
I've never tried selling on one of these systems, so don't know what it involves.
The old fashioned touts were useful to me for "I've got a so-so ticket, can you part exchange for anything better?" and once I did, for an extra £15 or so which was OK by me at the time. I tried this another time, and the guy offered me a "really good ticket" high up in the far back corner. Fortunately for me I knew the layout of Wembley pretty well, so I knew I was being kidded and stuck with what I had.
I wonder how many of the Stub Hubbers actually sold their spare (or "spare") tickets. I know for the ZZ, at 4pm there were lots of tickets on offer for a gig which began at say 8.30 that evening, and many of them were non-prints, so would be undeliverable unless someone met you at the venue. (This of course is the point where prices start plummeting.)
