I was just reading a very fitting obituary from Simon Porter on Flactuant Babies. SImon as I and many others I am sure got the news very early about Rick and as I posted here, I thought it was a sick joke. Sadly it wasn't a sick joke.
Rick left this world and the whole Quo army now wondering what his solo career and his autobiography would have been all about. Sad we will never know now, but that was Rick for you.... 😂
Sorry again. I am not trying to be insensitive, but even when my own Dad died, initially I was in shock, but I thought to myself how would my father have wanted to handle this.? Initially it was shock and disbelief, but then I just had to make a joke about it all and remember the happy days and laughs we had together.
At his funeral in England much to the dismay of his Scottish and Canadian families, on my wreath to him I wrote " Dad, you still owe me twenty fucking quid" ! They were not amused, but my mum couldn't stop laughing.... 😂😂😂
life goes on....
