Is anyone having issues with the board being really slow? OK for me but let me know please, and if you are can you let me know who you use for your internet access?

I think a few of us are having trouble with the time it's taking for Davy to understand simple mathematical principles but, other than that, I haven't noticed anything.

Talk-Talk Normally have about seven tabs open. Only this one really slow/freezes. Also getting the page changing to adware sites (click here to claim your prize, etc) twice this week, only on this tab?  |

From time to time it does slow down. When it has happened often, I've ran a connection & speed check and it's pinging a local server quickly and returning data at a rate of at least 100 mb/s (I'm on a Virgin Media 200mb/s connx). Other sites seem fine.
PLUS I've not experienced pop-ups but the page being diverted to an ad or "device cleaner" app etc.. a few seconds after the proper page loads up (on mobile devices). I've got no bad malware problem and I've checked it on another mobile device and it's happened on that too with this forum.

Hmm, it's only a few quid a month to turn off ads on here. Might do it.
I've pondered maybe self hosting a forum....but it's a big hassle to get everyone to transfer over.

I run Ccleaner twice a day! L O L!! Say no moh! On Topic: It runs a little faster when I use Edge instead of Firefox. The stickys mess things up.... No blocker used on either browser. I have a connection with 12/45 at the moment... these darn network-over-powerline gizmos.... Other sites runs smoother... and I experience the same thing at work... |
