Cheers Five years after Fall of the Soviet Union, open doors to rockmusic:-) Too fast versions really. Jeff? Or 'stadion efect' like stones. Also pretty horrible versions in quo's case

Being a musician myself and having done a few gigs I have to say that speed can also be down to the adrenaline you have running through you whilst performing hence the buzz you get when you come off cause it's a feeling like no other. But the late 94 - 96 period for Quo was shocking live, setlists and overall sound was going downhill! lets not forget the amount of bad choices they made set wise as well, dropping ROLD & DD for the first and last time ever.

That adrenaline thing is true. Well..that gig was not SO bad after all , but yes JR and quo at that time were like that..

Yes I dont think it was until ML joined in 2000 that they realised how fast they were playing. The rehersals with ML were out of control for speed until he learned to hold them back It was for the better Live between 2002-2005 they were great

Lightweight sound, galloping speeds, seemingly just going through the motions of playing the notes ( seemingly to get them over with as quick as possible ) and as a result lacking any real soul.
.....Everything that went wrong with Quo.....and despite a short respite, it's never recovered....
