I imagine he is pretty happy as his songs have had a wider audience than they would have otherwise. When was the last time he wrote anything decent ? I actually think his last solo album is very decent but very little of it would suit Quo. Maybe Rubber Gloves at a push or Ruby And Roy (the weakest track on the album in my opinion). Last 'decent' song for Quo? Probably Dust To Gold which I believe was largely his baby. More than decent that one. Although I'm also quite partial to Never Leave A Friend Behind.I would include Frozen Hero from QPQ.

I'm unclear on how regular a feature Andy was with Frampton? Also, what exactly did he do with Floyd?
I also enjoy his recent solo album, quirky but good! Frozen Hero and Dust to Gold are two of the best Quo songs from recentish years

Andy settled for a Steady Job with Quo, got to write a couple of hit singles and never came across as arrogant, and even though originally I thought he was going with the reunion tour, (which Rossi wanted) he talked himself out of it, realising he wasn't an essential part of what 70's Quo was. Fair enough, though had he been there he would've been welcomed by the Quo army, though as it turned out the magic of the reunion was partly due to the fact that Andy wasn't there.!! Perhaps he'll be involved in the next reunion - at least that way Rossi can stick to the "no more FF" line!

I think he played a lot more bass on that tour than Roger Waters did. Then he played Hammond Organ on The Final Cut after Richard Wright was kicked out of the band by Waters.

I doubt now it will happen, He might be back for the Winter tour but I am doubting that as well.

I'm taking at face value all the comments about Rick returning for the winter tour, but if he's not fit for that then I'm sure he won't be fit for any reunion gigs, sadly.

Frozen Hero and Dust to Gold are two of the best Quo songs from recentish years Obviously, they were together for a while in The Herd where they co-wrote quite a bit of material. Andy also featured on Frampton's first solo album & again on his fourth album "Frampton", released in '75. It was this album that featured the songs that became huge hits when released as live versions from the subsequent "Frampton Comes Alive!" album. However, Andy left the band before the live album was recorded.

Though I'm still wondering whether he sings on "In the Flesh?" or if the surrogate band was just miming and the real band was playing? But he definitely played some great bass parts on the songs where Roger had to "act" (particularly in the second half). And that organ on "Not Now John" is great. He also played organ on Waters' solo debut The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking, I think.

Here he is playing live with Floyd. There is even a close up of him at 4:12 however you can't see him as he is wearing a Roger Waters mask.

Probably in a massive minority here but personally a cant stand him. As a person? As a songwriter? As a musician? As the keyboardist in Quo? Have you met him?

As a person, met him in Newcastle with my son a few years ago acted like a right arrogant prick to us both fortunately Matt Letley was there & was different class, im very easy going & get on with anyone but his attitude that day will stick with me forever he was an absolute arsehole.

No, Andy doesn't seem to have contributed as a song-writer to any of Frampton's solo recordings.

Just as well Spud wasn't with him, I've been in bars on the reunion tours where JC would be drinking with Quo fans like he was one of them and then on other nights he'd walk straight past and give them that fuck off look., personally I though it was fabulous, after reading for over 35yrs that JC could be like this, though the couple of nights he joined us in the Bar were priceless.!!
