I had no idea that Rick sang this one, I always thought it was Alan.
Thanks BTW.

See, this is what I don't get. This stuff should have been a big hit over here. I guess it wasn't even available, because I surely would have heard it.

Probably my favourite Quo track ever. In fact, that moment at 2:44 when it moves from Is it really me to Gotta go home, the speed change, is probably my most favourite part of any song, ever, by anyone. Used to listen to this for hours on end from the "Rest of Status Quo" cassette I had. To this day that is my favourite album (ok compilation) ever. Unfortunately the tape bought it

The full 27 minute version, which is available on the, 'Accept No Substitute', DVD. So, it's not entirely superfluous!
I got the said discs for Christmas, although they only arrived from Amazon on the 31st December! Not that I'm blaming Amazon, as it was only ordered about a week before Christmas, apparently.

Two me, this is what summed Quo up. It's f'ckin immaculate. THIS WAS 100% QUO. The music and the image. I just wish I was there at the time. Sadly it was released a year before I was born!
I really, really enjoyed the Quo I heard in the late 70's when I was a kid but later on when I discovered Ma Kellys and Dog of Two Head, well.... they just blew me away. That was the stuff that I fell in love with.
I still find it hard that mere mortals wrote and performed this magic.
