What would people regard as their top 4 bands from the Frantic Four Era (68/81) is the period for this. I have missed out some bands who became bigger after 81 like Maiden. The poll mainly covers the 70s. My top 4 would be Queen, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy and Deep Purple Great selection to vote for Fl'eart! Cheers basically it's my record collection:D Own just about every album from the above as well as Quo. (Wombles exculded)

Only thing I'd've added is Grand Funk Railroad - but that is just me, not many in the UK are into them. The US lads might be more inclined. Love stuff like.. note the video poster's name - explains how rockinon claimed to know so much about the running of old board... I have heard of GFR not really listened to any of their stuff, not bad.

Well, of those listed, I went for Rush, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, and Eagles. However on another day I might have included Fleetwood Mac and Thin Lizzy
Choosing just 4 is very difficult.
There are probably one or two artists of quite different music genres I might include if they were listed.

No Mott or Bad Company... Or for that matter ABBA. Slade or Skynyrd. Bugger, I knew I should have put them and Sweet in. ABBA well maybe, what about Wings only the band The Beatles could have been. So what's your favourite Beatles record?

Don't really know much about them, Have seen a clip but was more distracted by the dancer with the big tits.
