Quite amusing the precise timings given. 7:30 to 11:00 and that's yer lot. We're putting the lights on at eleven on the dot and chucking you out Never seen that before though. Quite a find if it exists in the original poster format. Worth a bob or two that.

I knew that poem mortified but I've never seen this great clip that goes with it being performed. Of course, you weren't even a twinkle in your mother's eye back then. Enjoy folks.

The pictures are from a TV appearance, possibly crackerjack or some programme like that at the time. The poster, AFAIK, is made up by someone and isn't genuine

That someone made them look great though. They were my genuine Quo.

I looked this up on the quogigography website and it was only 25 mins. Looks like it was done for a TV recording. And that supports the material you have posted dennis

They played a full set, and the full set was recorded - missing nowadays though. Cost them £241.15 at the time - Two 2" reels, 1 1/2 hours recording on 16 track tape. The audience recording isn't an audience recording either. It's a really shite copy of the soundboard audio of the tracks, imo

Yeah, we were shown that little film at school. Funnily enough, poetry was never my thing at school (was it anyone's?), although it kept pitching up during English lessons. But that film on its own made me remember that poem. I don't remember any others except for the fact they all seemed to be about WW1. But it goes to show the power of images in helping retain information. As advertisers are no doubt fully aware.

Shame if its a fake poster.
Everything does seem to be fake these days. I've even got a fake Spectres vinyl single (sigh).
