I can't find the Metallica clip where they play Caroline in a studio, i think. Does anyone know which clip i mean? Can someone please post it on here. Funnily enough, I was looking for this clip a couple of months ago. Like you I couldn't find it again Lars was/is a huge Quo fan, hence why they played it. Great minds think alike. It's out there somewhere, it's a shame they never recorded a Quo song.

Metallica doing Marguerita time would be erm interesting. But seriously Big Fat Mama would be the best song for them to cover or Down Down or Roll Over Lay Down

I remember reading that somewhere.

Maybe at the time James realized they were more panto quo then what he had listened to back in the day and not as "heavy"

Yeah, i think reading that in the Classic Rock magazine. Maybe they didn't like In The Army Now and a few others. Their setlist certainly changed since the last time they toured the USA.

Would I be correct in assuming Metallica covering Big Fat Mama would/could sound a bit like this?

Would I be correct in assuming Metallica covering Big Fat Mama would/could sound a bit like this? I enjoyed that, yep that would be close to what it would sound like.
